Okay, so this was my birthday stay. I am beyond happy with what this place we chose. It is so serene, no neighbours or people around. You are really secluded. The place has character, from its books, to its wooden design. I felt so at home and my favourite part was the hot-tub, the sauna and the lake. It is a very big space and we had 5 people total, it was very roomy. This is a very great home to stay in and I would come back. Liam was very responsive to my messages during my stay. I even left something behind and he helped me to locate my item. thanks everyone

We loved our visit. The house was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, and instructions for getting in the house and operating the sauna and hot tub were clear. Great spot for a relaxing weekend!

A great stay at a cozy cabin in the woods! Exactly the kind of trip we were hoping for - we played games, spun records, canoed and enjoyed the hottub and sauna. Would love to return again when the weather is warmer 😁

We had a relaxing few days at the Stone Hearth Lodge! A beautiful spot in the woods where you can really disconnect. The hot tub was great and the sauna by the river was a nice treat. We hope to go back in the summer. Liam was great and very quick to respond to questions. The roadway leading up to the house is a bit rough, caution to any small cars.

My sisters and I stayed at Hearthstone Lodge for two nights—a little weekend getaway. The two living rooms gave us lots of space to spread out, and the back deck was our favourite place. We ate breakfast out there, soaking in the beauty of the icy lake and the sound of the river rushing by. The dishwasher made cleaning up after meals very easy and quick. The sauna and hot tub were well-enjoyed. I strongly recommend that you plan to arrive in daylight; the combination of losing cell service and the extreme darkness of the area can make finding the place at night difficult. We hope to return! Kempt is a gorgeous area.
