Wonderful long weekend retreat in the serenity of the nearby Shenandoah National Park. Peaceful, tranquil and lovely setting for reflection and taking a step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We enjoyed the wildlife, beautiful trees and plant life and the views off the deck. Definitely recommend to those seeking a respite, perhaps combined with some nearby hiking.

This property is quite simply stunning and rustic. the host has added such thoughtful touches that added to a comprised equal charm both inside and outside of the property. We felt right at home.

WONDERFUL, cozy cabin tucked on a hillside overlooking a broad hollow. Scott is incredibly responsive and friendly and bent over backwards for us. We stayed a week and loved long nights in front of the fireplace. Furniture, especially beds, are super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Perfect place for a getaway near Shenandoah.

My wife and I and another couple stayed at Scott’s house for one night while visiting the Inn at Little Washington. Scott was extremely responsive and eager to help with any questions or recommendations. It’s a very cool 19th century house, high on a hill in rural VA. Views are incredible. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the Inn and there is a car service available (just call the Inn and they will give you details). The house was very clean and had plenty of amenities. It is in a very rural location so cell reception is spotty but the wifi works perfectly. The only issue we had was with the walkway from the driveway to the house. Two of us actually slipped and fell. The walkway is a bit dangerous when wet. Other than that small issue, we loved the house and would certainly return should we visit the Inn again.

My family & I really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was clean, comfortable and just what we were looking for over Thanksgiving. The weather cooperated and we could see all the beautiful mountains and hear the stream below.
