Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful Chalet in the Woods. Take in the beautiful views of the trees and pond from the wrap-around deck or enjoy the hot tub while listening to the great outdoors. If you are feeling adventurous, you can take your pick from a scenic hike in Shenandoah National Park, explore through Luray Caverns or kayak along the Shenandoah River. You may also want to visit the historic Downton Front Royal or try a wine tasting at Glen Manor Vineyards. This is an open "A" frame floor plan with high ceilings and lots of windows and natural light. There are three bedrooms with king beds on the main floor and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two sets of bunks and a single in the basement. There are 3 living spaces to watch tv or read a book and relax. There is a beautiful wrap around porch with a hammock and views of the pond. On the lower level patio, you will find a hot tub and an outdoor shower which you can enjoy any time of the day. Our home is situated in the woods on 15 beautiful acres. A great place to relax and unwind.

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway with your friends!
The place was really great! And Dana checked in often and was a good host.
We had an incredible time with our group of 10 people! Dana, our Airbnb host, was exceptional. They provided all the essential amenities you might forget when traveling. The accommodations exceeded our expectations! We're already planning our next booking before leaving. The pictures accurately depict what you can expect. We're eagerly anticipating experiencing it again in the summer!
My friends and I had the best time relaxing, hiking, cooking, and playing board game here! I would definitely come back!
We rang in 2024 at this property and it was wonderful! It was a great way to unplug and while there are local attractions, we stayed on the property the entire trip. Even in the winter, the hot tub and fire pit were favorite amenities. The house has plenty of places for everyone to be together or find quiet time for themselves. Dana is a great host and we felt comfortable with all of the prep and communication she provided. We recommend this for families!
