What a beautiful home and weekend getaway! Matthew was the most perfect host. He was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. The home itself was very spacious and filled with all the necessary amenities. The ping pong table downstairs was also a great addition. All of Matthew's recommendations for nearby attractions were spot on. From the winery to restaurant recommendations, we truly had a great time. Also, the location of the home is great. We ventured out to the Luray Caverns one day and it only took 25 minutes. Overall, a great weekend at a beautiful place and location. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

The location of this rental is amazing - close to Shenandoah, many other outdoor activities, and close enough to Front Royal that you can run out for something you forgot. Matthew was incredibly responsive and easy to contact. House is equipped sufficiently for cooking. There are two large living spaces that are good for gathering, but few nooks for escaping to - so better layout for extraverts. If you are coming in winter, plan to bring your own blankets - there are sheets and a bedspread on each bed but no comforters or blankets. Note that there is no washer or dryer (as stated in the listing). This was not an issue for us but something we'd need for us for a stay longer than 3-4 days.

This is our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Very nice beds. Very clean. Lots to do in the area. We will plan to stay after Christmas again next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at Matthew’s! The surrounding area is gorgeous and the house itself is clean, new, and a great place to stay. Love the big windows!

It was a nice relaxing place to stay. The house was gorgeous and location was great to where we needed to be. I will definitely stay again when we come back to Virginia.
