It’s clear that Gretchen puts a lot of thought into making your stay perfect. You really don’t need to bring anything because they have it all! It was so clean and my whole family talked about how comfy the beds were. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

This was our second stay at the Wild Azalea House and it was incredible! The trees, plants and flowers were in bloom during our visit and the house is surrounded by lush greenery and sweet smelling blooms. It's a perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature and recharge your spirit. The inside of the house is so peaceful. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the unique refurbished furniture to the beautiful artwork and wallpaper. The hosts are incredibly hospitable. From the moment we booked, they went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Gretchen provided us with everything we needed and helped us use the projector, sauna and fire pit, which were relaxing highlights of our stay. We visited the Luray Caverns and stopped at Patty O's Cafe in Little Washington. It was the ideal romantic getaway for our 10 year anniversary!

Gretchen's place is a gem and she is a wonderful hostess!!! We're already planning our next stay at the Wild Azalea house. The moment we walked in, everyone felt at home. The pictures don't do justice of how beautiful the home truly is. Gretchen put a lot of thought and work into decorating her home. It was pristine, clean, and very welcoming. I felt safe letting my dogs run free outside, they came home worn-out! This place is a keeper!

This house is everything you could want for rest and relaxation. The furnishings are amazingly comfortable, the decor is fabulous (no sad beige here!), and the surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. You’re also close to hiking in the Shenandoah and Luray Caverns but don’t be surprised if you just want to nap on the big couch in the sun instead. Gretchen was a perfect host—responsive, welcoming, and friendly. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. My family left feeling relaxed and recharged. I’d come back here again in a heartbeat.
