As our flight was significantly delayed, they reached out to ensure we were alright. This cabin a haven where the past and present merge to create an unforgettable escape. I plan to come back and explore more of the area soon.

I chose Judith and Michael’s cabin as our home base for exploring the Shenandoah area for my partners birthday and we could not have been happier (despite some overcast weather). The cabin itself feels like staying in a piece of history but it still has all the modern comforts you might need. As birders we were thrilled to wake up every morning surrounded by bird song. We loved the (very private) outdoor shower and it was a treat to be able to say hello to the horses next door! I’ll sum up by saying that my partner’s takeaway is that we should come back every year!

Had a peaceful few days at the cabin. Everything was as listed and I loved being able to disconnect from city life. Communication with the hosts was always prompt friendly, and helpful.

We were so comfortable! We truly enjoyed sitting out on the porch swing looking out over the peaceful scenery. This weekend was about finding peace and well being and we got that! Next time we'll spend more time there and adventure out to see more of the property and surrounding area. The rooms were cozy, the beds were very comfortable, and the amenities were perfect for what we needed. Thank you Judith and Michael for a perfect weekend!

Just a great stay… we really enjoyed our time at Judith and Michael’s cabin. Beautiful location, dogwoods were in bloom all around us, just a really peaceful location. Cabin was charming and warm but old and rustic at the same time. Couldn’t recommend this location more.
