We had an amazing weekend in this beautiful home. It was perfect. Clean, well provisioned, gorgeous view and surroundings. Not only was the house wonderful, the owners were as well. Very responsive when I had a question and extremely helpful. Our family will stay here again!
This cabin was very warm and welcoming. I felt it was very equipped to make us comfortable the weekend that we stayed there. All appliances and equipment were top-quality and the cabin turned out to be the perfect spot to celebrate my wife’s birthday with the family and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely go back another time and will recommend it to our friends.
We stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend & it was absolutely beautiful! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need although we did not make Thanksgiving dinner there, we chose to go to a nearby restaurant called Regions 117 for their buffet. We only cooked breakfast there but anything you needed was right at your fingertips including coffee, spices, olive oil, towels, etc. I would definitely recommend it!
Some friends and I were looking for a quiet cabin in the woods near Winchester and found Ellie’s Lodge. From start to end, our booking process, stay and check-out were amazing. Grace was a pleasure to speak with while coordinating our stay. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had stunning views that made it worth every penny. If you’re looking for a quiet cabin in the woods, book Ellie’s Lodge and don’t look back.

Hello, Frank and Angélique O'Reilly here, owners of Rolling River Farm. We live in Front Royal with our family and have been building and developing land in the area almost since we arrived over forty years ago. Every once in a while, you come across a piece of property that you don't want to let go of which is how we got involved in the vacation rental business. In the early years of the new millennium we were able to purchase the farm from the Hoskins family who had owned it since long before the Civil War. Rolling River Farm, now with four houses, sits on a scenic curve on the historic Shenandoah River. The first house, The Farmhouse, is a beautifully renovated and charming homestead. We have since added the 'River Overlook', the 'Pondhouse' and the 'River Snug'. Nearby are three more unique vacation homes designed and built by Frank to take advantage of the remarkable property, setting and views. All of these, including floorplans, can been seen by visiting Rolling River Holidays. Our daughter, Grace, currently manages Rolling River Holidays and will be able to help you with any needs or questions. We love the area and are thrilled to be able to share our lovely properties with travelers from around the world. We look forward to having you stay!
