Mary was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and her house is beautiful. The property is amazing. She had a large yard and welcoming outdoor seating both in the front and back. There is also a bonfire which we intended to use, but never did. Her home is tucked away, but still close to multiple wineries. We saw foxes visiting the area and our guests loved the cow pasture nearby. Overall our experience was good. A few bedrooms were better maintained and cleaner than others so hopefully that can be improved. The train nearby startled us on the first night, but we quickly got used to it. I would still recommend her place especially for large groups! Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality Mary!

Mary’s place was wonderful. We were a group of families with young kids and the house was perfect. First, Mary was very responsive, kind, and helpful. Secondly, the house is huge and the bedrooms were exactly as pictured. It was also very clean. A huge bonus was the outdoor space including the basketball court and playground. Also the kids loved seeing the cows next door. Inside the house, the kitchen was well appointed and the toddler room was a big hit. Mary left a number of little snacks which was very sweet. The house even came with a high chair and pack and plays. There isn’t much right nearby but it was a very short drive to multiple good wineries (including ones with pizza) and Sky Meadows State Park. I would highly recommend this house.

Spacious, comfortable home in a beautiful setting. Home is well-appointed and many little 'extras' were provided. Well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare family meals easily. Mary was wonderfully communicative throughout the process and accessing the property was a breeze. Very large yard with playset, tree swing, and basketball goals. Lots of parking. Convenient to NoVa/DC, Virginia's wine country, and the northern Shenandoah Valley.

This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays! The house was beautiful, the location so peaceful and the house was stocked with all the essentials. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home and it was a wonderful, seamless experience. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is visiting the area!
