The Nest is very beautiful as described in the pictures and description. The location and views are really incredible. My wife and I had a great weekend visit.

We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Nest to celebrate my wife's birthday. The house is beautiful, a nice mix of rustic cabin with modern amenities and soaring windows to take in the amazing views into the valley below. We loved seeing the sunrise from bed, enjoying our coffee on the deck, taking an afternoon dip in the hot tub and relaxing by the fireplace in the evening. The house was clean and cozy and the kitchen was well stocked for the one night we cooked dinner. Everything really was perfect and we would definitely love to come back for another stay.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Nest. It was beautiful, peaceful, private, and a very well maintained property. If you visit in the winter, be sure to pack your slippers, as it took a little trial and error to regulate the inside temperature. That said, we loved the gas fireplace and used it regularly. The view was spectacular. The whole building was essentially windows on the east, so sunrises were magnificent. As the write up mentions, expect lady bugs and stink bugs inside. While not a nuisance, they were noticeable. Overall, we loved our visit and time spent in Chester Gap.
