A stunning cabin, which is even more beautiful than the photos show! Rose and Chris were so helpful when we checked in, as we had a little difficulty openning the door because it was so cold. Within a matter of minutes they'd told us exactly what we needed to do, and we were in, and they replied instantly to all of our messages. I felt very at ease, and so cared for. The cabin itself is wonderful, warm, spacious and beautifully clean. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful too. We're already planning to come back again!

Rose and Chris describe the place as "rustic", that's accurate and I would add charming and quaint. Sometimes those words are meant as a pejorative, but not in this case. the cottage is a small, comfortable, one bedroom affair best suited for a couple. It is very private situated on the Musquodoboit river. I did not investigate the fold outs in the common room, but the large couch is marvelous for sprawling. First impression on walking in: the place doesn't strike you as elegant, but its charm grows on you quickly. The cottage is well-equipped, maybe better than most. Not a guormet kitchen, but everything youll need. To avoid surprises, it's good to know beforehand that the cottage uses well water which is advised for cleaning and washing but not cooking or drinking. A handy Culligan cooler is provided along with several spare carboys. Likewise, it's good to know before you arrive that heat is a combination of electric baseboards and a wood stove, which I did not need.

My partner and I stayed here while visiting family. It was the perfect spot for our trip. It is quite small, but for the two of us it was very functional. The location was great, and the views were beautiful. The bed was super comfy although it was pretty high (this wasn't a problem for us, but if you were shorter or had mobility issues it might be an issue). Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely try to stay here again when visiting the Shore!

Had a wonderful stay at this little rustic cottage by the water. Beautiful views and peace and quiet what more would you want? If you’re looking to stay here I would highly recommend it! Thanks for the amazing stay. I would for sure come back again!!
