My girlfriend and I had a lovely weekend staying in Katherine and Jim's guest suite! They were very accommodating and helpful especially since we arrived pretty late at night. The bed was super comfy, and with the blackout curtains, we had some of the best sleep! The hot tub is also an incredible place to relax. Being close to town was perfect. Definitely walkable, though we drove in since it was a bit chilly. We loved chatting with Jim and Katherine as well. Hopefully we can find time for a summer trip to Nevada City as well!

I cannot begin to thank Kathrine enough for being so welcoming and excited to have me. She was so considerate, and went the extra mile so many times with recommendations, or including me in her plans to help me meet community members. I will definitely be coming back

Wow! This was truly a home away from home. Kathy made everything so welcoming from setting up early coffee to driving me to a wonderful hike. I slept great! The room is quiet and the cute town of Nevada City is just down the hill. A very relaxing place to be!

This was a rare find and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Katherine went well beyond what was expected to make us comfortable and make sure we had everything we needed. There was plenty of privacy to do my work, spacious enough to unpack and be comfortable, room for our food etc. Our stay was perfect in every way.
