Nestled in the beautiful market town of Louth on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds is Auctioneers Cottage, a cosy quaint two bedroom victorian cottage full of character and charm. The recently renovated cottage is perfectly situated to offer easy access to the town centre, off street parking close by and a plentiful selection of good pubs & restaurants. The location is also ideal for exploring the superb walking and cycling trails the Lincolnshire Wolds has to offer. Auctioneers cottage was built in the late 1800s and originally served as the residence of auctioneers who worked at the nearby livestock market across the road. The cottage is situated in a conservation area close to town centre, and provides a lovely panoramic view overlooking the town from the back of the cottage. There are a great selection of independent shops, eateries and a wide variety of amenities within short walking distance. The Boars Head pub is located almost directly opposite the property for convenience, which serves excellent food & drink. A public car park is also opposite the cottage offering parking for a small daily charge, or there’s free parking approximately 200 yards away just down the road. On the ground floor is a cosy living room with 32 inch smart TV and wood burner, a spacious kitchen with coffee making area and dining facilities. The first floor is accessed via a steep staircase where there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The larger bedroom offers a king size bed, dressing table, a chest of drawers with clothes rail and two bedside tables. The smaller bedroom has a full size single bed and a futon which can sleep an adult. Please note, the futon is probably more ideally suited for a child due to the snug nature of the room, the space is quite limited when the futon is made up next to the bed. The bathroom is fitted with spacious shower, toilet and basin. ***Please note the steep staircase is not suited to people with mobility issues*** At the front of the cottage is a south facing patio area with bistro style table and chairs for relaxation after exploring the area. For babies or small children, we have a travel cot, high chair, children’s tableware and a stair gate available on request.
