We'd heard about Rose Path cottage from friends and wanted to come last summer, but Fiona made that impossible. But we booked again for this September and we're so glad we did. Anne's place is really lovely, peaceful, with an amazing view of the Northumberland Strait. The Cottage is beautiful, with lots of great touches, books, art work, and layout. You can watch the water while you prepare your meals and eat them! And the deck and screened porch are a great place to enjoy breakfast. And although the cottage is close to the Wood Islands ferry and south shore, it's easy to get pretty much anywhere on the island, especially the villages on the east-end coves and harbors. All-in-all, a great find, and Anne is a lovely host, as well. And all of this we say wholeheartedly despite Tropical Storm Lee blowing through while we were there.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Anne's beautiful cottage. It could not have been any more perfect. Homey, comfortable, extremely well equipped and in a perfect location for a peaceful few days. I would love to come back again soon.

If you have the opportunity to book a stay here, DO IT!!! The cottage is cozy with lots of personal touches, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Anne has a notebook with instructions, things to do, places to eat, etc. Such thoughtful touches like nightlights, bedside lamps for reading, a bookshelf full of interesting books. The best part is the porch, part of which is open and the other part screened... we spent all of our time at the cottage on the porches, enjoying the meadow, the wildflowers, the birds! It is truly a little slice of heaven, and they are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet!!!

We loved staying at Anne’s place. The views were beautiful and the screen in porch was perfect to relax in. Would stay there again!

Cute, rustic cottage, separated from the main house for privacy, situated in a field with a nice view. Mowed paths for walking/driving. Loved sitting in the screened in porch. Short walk to the water via a dirt road & woodsy path. We had a very relaxing stay.
