Amazing weekend! Got an epic amount of snow. The house was perfect. Matt was super responsive. We got over a foot of snow during our stay, if you don’t have chains on your tires don’t try and go up to the cabin in inclement weather. There is parking outside the community and it’s a not a bad walk. Hated to leave!!

We had a wonderful mother-daughter weekend at Matt’s place. The home is open, airy, pristine, and the views spectacular. We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay for six adults. We cooked at home as well as enjoyed the great restaurants in nearby Davis and all the spectacular outdoor activities of Blackwater State Park and Timberline. It is a beautiful area, Matt’s home is even better than the photos, and we would definitely stay again.

The view from the hot tub at night is amazing! You can stargaze and it is nestled next to the trees. The cabin is very cute but it is a vacation home area so it is not private at all. The houses are stacked on top of each other so you can see directly on neighbors decks. The drive up to the house is very steep so I would recommend bringing an SUV. The two twin beds are in the attic “kids” room with a very steep spiral staircase so that room would only work for agile people who can get up there. The second floor queen bedroom is lofted without enclosed walls so the only room with privacy is the basement bedroom. I do recommend this cabin but wanted to provide clarifying details!

Really wonderful, peaceful trip! The place was super clean and comfortable, and it made it very relaxing for the group. Neighbors were closer than anticipated, but no noise disruptions at all. Still maintained a very, very private and homey feel.
