The new owners have kept the charm of Stoneapple Farm while making it more comfortable TThe cottage has a spacious living room with natural light coming in from large windows set into thick stone walls. The living room has a large stone fireplace, a dining table and newly reupholstered sofas. The living room includes a comfortable daybed for napping on, reading a book or for guests to sleep on. The daybed has a pop up trundle under it for guests, both beds have comfortable new mattresses. The charming kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals while you are on your mountain retreat. The large upstairs private master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, vintage chaise lounge, and 4 dormer windows for lots of light. The second bedroom is located directly at the at the top of the stairs, it has no door for privacy, guests going to the master bedroom walk through this room which has 2 new twin beds, one a lovely new daybed and the other a new pop up trundle bed. There is easy access to the front door of the cottage from the parking area, a lovely front patio, a hammock to relax in (except in the winter when it is too cold), an old fashion rope swing to swing on and the backyard is fenced in for dog visitors. Please keep in mind the cottage is elderly. It is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest visit but it’s not a slick modern hotel. Think clean, quaint, a trip back to a simpler life, local art, vintage books and the quiet and serenity of being in the country.
