We had a lovely week at Woodside. We quickly got to grips with the hot-tub and Rayburn for cooking and on nights out, really enjoyed the Mason’s Arms, just a short walk away. The garden was perfect for our dogs. Very comfortable cottage in a good location. Thank you Hannah!

It is a little difficult to find, but Hannah did a great job of providing multiple map options. It’s a lovely property with great facilities and feels very homely. Cartmel fell is a beautiful location and this cottage sits right in a beautiful stream with fantastic views. Very convenient for Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside. We had car problems whilst we were there and Hannah was very helpful with details of local garages that could help. All in all, I would definitely recommend Woodside.

The house was even better than the pictures. We were a group of nine including two young children and there was lots of space for everyone to be together and not feel cramped. The converted annex makes for a lovely additional room out the back. The house is beautiful and full of character with a well stocked kitchen if you wanted to cook and a welcome pack which was a nice touch. It's in a remote location which can be tricky to find (despite detailed directions) but with a car there are lovely pubs nearby - The Masons Arms and The Hare & Hounds at Bowland Bridge - among them - and stunning views. It was the perfect choice for a family get together. Hannah was friendly and quick in answering questions before we booked and in providing lots of info as the booking got nearer.

The house is beautiful and situated in the gorgeous surroundings of the peaceful Lake District hills. For use as birdwatching folk, we had a stream of new birds to add to our Life found lists, just by sitting at the bedroom windows. The sign of a superhost is how they deal with adversity and Hannah is exactly that. Unfortunately the fridge failed on the second day ( it happens, Murphy’s laws ) and Hannah managed to get a mini fridge to us within 24 hours on Easter weekend as well as offering alternative accommodation which we declined as the situation was great, the freezer was functional so we just froze and defrosted as needed. I recommend the property and the host for a great peaceful vacation.

A great Airbnb and in a perfect location. Feels like a million miles away! Great pubs nearby and very very soft and comfortable beds!
