Sunny Bank Chapel was the perfect Easter weekend getaway - we arrived in the dark but check in was very easy thanks to Daphne's clear instructions. The location is truly special, and we made the most of our stay with lots of long walks and even booked out the canoe which was a lovely way to see more of the lake and the fantastic scenery. Dog friendly, responsive host, amazing characterful place - highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay in this lovely cosy chapel. Perfect for a peaceful getaway for two people. The pictures can’t quite capture how lovely it is to be here. Daphne was extremely kind and helpful and the instructions for checking in, using the amenities etc are all very clear.

Originally from London, I moved to Carlisle with my husband 20 years ago. We love the Coniston area and when we saw Sunny Bank we couldn't resist it! We got together several close friends and between us we own and manage all the Sunny Bank properties. We all adore the place and spend holidays here as often as we can. Every year we have a fun weekend together inspecting the properties and deciding what should be next on our list of improvements. We want the Farm, the Mill and the Cottages to be as special as possible not just for ourselves but for all our holiday guests.
