A beautiful cottage to stay at. It ticked all the boxes that we look for in a holiday. The view is outstanding from the patio. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing long weekend away over Easter. The boathouse is perfectly located away from any hustle and bustle but close enough to Bowness and the many excellent restaurants and bars. The boathouse itself is quite simply gorgeous, it immediately felt like home, very comfortable and relaxing lounge area, great bathroom and shower, perfectly adequate and functional kitchen area and very comfortable bedrooms. The hot tub with its amazing views was just amazing. The views from the lounge/ balcony over the lake were just stunning and we have no hesitation in recommending the boathouse.
