This was a great place to stay while we visited the area including Hood River! Everything was clean and the place was described well, Mary was also clear with instructions and responsive!

This cottage was very clean, warm, safe and comfortable. My husband and I are seniors so we really appreciated no steps to enter. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils, with a view from the table of a large, grassy field. The walk-in shower was an added plus. The big armchairs were well padded and the leather sofa long enough to stretch out on. Both bedrooms were spacious enough for our four night stay. The beds were okay and we really enjoyed the non-ikea artwork. The gravel driveway leading to the cottage and two other small homes was fine. Other than a wave or two we didn't interact with the neighbors as we were mainly out exploring the area. Carson has a couple of stores and Stevenson is about a 10 minute drive with more grocery stores. It's not far to Skamania Lodge and the Museum there or cross the Bridge of the Gods ($3 toll) and you are at Multnomah Falls within 30 minutes. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return to this quiet cottage.
