This is a pleasant and versatile space if you are OK with stairs. Well equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven and microwave, lots of crockery and pots and pans. Rooms are plain and comfortable, the area is quiet and in good range of amenities.

We used Rob’s townhouse as we were travelling to Hartlepool for a wedding. As a base point, it met our needs sufficiently. It has the basics and is very central and accessible to the town centre. It has a Morrisons, Asda and shopping precinct all within a 5 minute walk and has many pubs and places to eat. There is also a long stay car park at the end of the road which is £2.50 for 10 hours and free on Sundays. The building is old, and the accommodation is basic. Having only one bathroom (with windows and only net curtains) and just a two seater seater with dining chairs is wasn’t overly comfy for 6 adults but there are plenty of rooms and sleeping space. We had a couple of issues and suggestions which we are informing Rob about so hopefully these would be looked at for any future guests If you are looking for a basic place to sleep and use as a base point where you do not intend to spend much time, I would recommend this accommodation.

Location was very close to the harbour which is what we wanted. We were spending most of the time out of the place to didn't need anything more.

Rob and associates were very polite and helpful. The BnB was as expected and most importantly: cool. The only improvement I would have liked is updated mattresses (bit squishy)
