We so enjoyed our stay at Mark and Sharon’s place. The location was ideal for us, peaceful and quiet with so many beautiful plants and a totally awesome view.

I loved staying at Sunrise Studio! Sharon and Mark are so friendly and hospitable, and the studio space was cozy, neat, and peaceful. There's a beautiful blooming garden and this is a great location if you want to be close to town, but with a more countryside feeling. Loved the sounds of birds and frogs too!

The couple/hosts were very friendly and gave wonderful suggestions. We loved waking up in the morning to a beautiful view and going to bed with the beautiful sounds of the rainforest. The Airbnb is just the right distance away from downtown hilo. If you're staying in Hilo, I highly recommend staying here.

This is a truly special place with wonderful hosts. Sharon and Mark made us feel like family. They were very generous, providing great local recommendations, a well stocked larder, and fresh oranges off their own tree. The studio is lovely, set on a quiet, peaceful, green hillside with a sweeping view of the sea. A perfect location for exploring the laid back, authentic east side of the Big Island.
