Great little space in a wonderful location on the hillside above Low Bradfield. Superb views from up there, very quiet too and terrific pubs in Low and High Bradfield and the Assembly in Low Bradfield for a smart place. Not too far from the centre of the Peak District too.

Situated in a peaceful location at the top of a steep hill in beautiful countryside with scenic views across fields and valleys. At the bottom of the hill is a pub alongside an eatery come pub known as the schoolrooms and the assembly. We thoroughly recommend the schoolrooms and assembly, although the walk back up the hill after the meal and drinks is not for the weak hearted , yet good for burning off the calories. For physically impaired residents you may require a car or taxi to make the journey The cottages are very peaceful during the evening Around the cottages are grounds where you can sit and eat if the UK weather allows , benches are positioned outside We were there to visit family in Sheffield and location was ideal for that If you enjoy fishing, within a couple of miles you have Loxley Fisheries which I personally recommend or Cow Gap Fishery at Dungworth which looks great but did not use on this occasion Lots of walks and cycle routes around Thoroughly enjoyable

Great little place for two, perfect as a base for exploring the Peak District. Lovely and clean and just a short walk to town for dinner. Would stay here again 👍🏼
