Cassandra was a great host! She checked on us before arriving to make sure we were safe. She also responded quickly to messages. The house was beautiful and in a private and peaceful location.

This property went above and beyond expectations. I've stayed at several Airbnb houses, and this was by far the best. There were so many additional touches that really stood out: supplies to make smores, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion (the good stuff) in the bathrooms, coffee bar, games/puzzles, bedding that was plush and comfortable, laundry supplies, dishwasher supplies, citronella candles for outside, etc... EVERYTHING was provided!! I even saw vacuum lines on the carpet - everything was so clean! The only "con" is that it is away from civilization (limited cell service and a bit of a drive - maybe 10 minutes from the places we were going to kayak) BUT we had no problem with that. Our whole party agreed that the drive was worth it for what we were "coming home" to. Our view was amazing! I wish other hosts would come to see this place and learn how to do it RIGHT!! Worth every penny.

The house was perfect for floating the Illinois River. Cassandra was a great host and provided everything we needed plus some. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be staying there again!
