We spent 3 weeks in Alison’s house, and had a great time. The house is very nice, and the surroundings are great. Easy to get around with buses and ferries, and just a short walk to the beach and the shopping in Freshwater. Alison was very helpful in organizing a cot for the toddler and such. I can recommend this as a family home, great with kids, we really enjoyed the garden and the deck as well. The cleaning was not great, and the barbecue was old and not suitable for real cooking, that was a dissapointment,- but all in all, this was really worth it, and I would not hesitate to go back.

Had a lovely time with my Melb family visiting me for a beachside stay-cation at Alison's lovely place. It's a beautifully laid out and decorated home for a chilled out beach family holiday. Also clean and well provided with toiletries, towels (even beach towels) and bedding. We could easily move between Manly and CQ by public transport. We also discovered the convenience of the local bus routes to explore the less crowded outdoor seaside pools at Freshwater and South Curl Curl. They were total hidden gems, as well as grabbing a bite and drink at the nearby hip Harbord hotel to hang out like the locals do! Alison is such a welcoming and accommodating host, offering to adjust the bed setup arrangements to better suit our group and calling me to explain arrangements on the day of our arrival and give me lots of useful info. Highly recommend! We loved it!👍😉💕

We had a lovely stay at Alison's house. We were in Sydney for a wedding and were travelling with my parents and two young children. The house was in a great location and walkable distance to the beach. I would recommend that a compendium of information on location, best way to get to the various beaches, bin days, check-out processes, etc be developed as that would have assisted us. We kept changing the way we got to the beach by finding different pathways. Our main concern was the lack of blind on one of the windows in the upset bedroom that our daughter was sleeping in. She woke with the sun/light each morning which meant a 5.40am start for us. The house is lovely and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. Alison’s house is a home away from home. Spacious, generous living in a peaceful lovely setting, close to Curl Curl and walking to Freshwater. All the amenities to ensure we could switch into holiday mode fast and get 100% out of our summer break. Thank you!
