We loved staying at Tres Palmas! The home was beautiful and just as shown in the photos. We had two couples and kids staying at the property and it worked out perfectly for us. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, minus some issues. We were not able to reach the host, either by phone, text or email, when we arrived. The code for the lockbox was not given in advance, so we had no way of getting into the house. Luckily, or unlucky for owner, the back door was left unlocked so we entered that way. The house next door, also managed by Vacasa, got a call about low water pressure that brought someone out to check on things. He was able to contact the host and got the lockbox code for us. Also, according to the "instruction/information" book for the home, the pool and yard were to be cleaned a min. of two times per week. We were there for 9 days and both were done only once; are they paying for these services or just spending the $$ and not receiving the services? All in all, it was fine. My only suggestion is that they not wait until you are on the way there and send the lockbox code 24 hours in advance. Other reviews have said the same thing-it should addressed.

Very thoughtfully designed and appointed house right on Maya Beach. The house really is spectacular, with (almost) every kitchen tool you might need, plenty of towels for beach and pool, and several nice places for lounging and enjoying the ocean views and breezes -- including the lovely pool. Unfortunately, it was quite windy during most of our 6-day stay (which apparently is the norm), so were unable to take advantage of snorkeling right off the shore. The only drawback, as other reviewers have noted, was that the water right at the shoreline was a little dirty due to the practice of sweeping trash and washed-up seaweed back into the water (only to have it return the next day!). Communication with the host was great, and there was a very helpful book with instructions and local recommendations at the house.

Perfect setting for a relaxed vacation. The pool is perfect for daily dipping while listening to the waves. This place was exactly what we were looking for to have a relaxed and peaceful getaway.
