We are a group of friends coming to Belize to dive. We also like good food and drink. The house had a great beach club bar next door and a fantastic coffee and ice cream restaurant a few steps away. We rented golf carts and were in town in two minutes. Shane was there every step of the wY to navigate changes to our diving due to weather. He organized massages at the villa and a dinner too. We had an awesome time and will definitely be back. Shane is the best!!! The Villa was awesome with every bedroom having a private bathroom. The beachfront pool was amazing after a day on the ocean. Oh and Shane booked our diving too. We just showed up and relaxed.

The place was amazing. The location was top notch. Close enough to town to enjoy restaurants and shops. But far enough to still feel private. Pool was wonderful and the beach was well tended. The home had many areas for activity. Lots of tables and seating for recreation and gathering. Shane was a great host. Quickly responsive and eager to help. He was near enough to help but didn’t hover. Over all, I would not pick another location in Placencia. We’ve already decided to go back as a family, and will definitely go to Casa del Sol!

The place was better than advertised. The house was private and the view was incredible. We were greeted at the airport by Shane and then went to the beach club next door for lunch, which was great. Also we set up a tab at the beach club and a few other times we ordered delivery from there to the house, so that made it extra special for the convenience (kind of like room service). The location was convenient to Placencia Village (about a mile away and merely a few mins by golf cart). An extra bonus was the coffee shop near the place. Finally Shane set us up on a few excursions (extra cost) that made the experience even more memorable. We left Placencia with a special place in our hearts and the villa had a good part in the overall experience. Would definitely stay there again.
