This home was a true North Country stay. The mountain views were just gnarly. The fireplace was the main attraction in the house as it stretched two stories high. All of the appliances worked well and we cooked every night. As nice as the restaurants are in the area , this house made you want to go home and have a bourbon by the fire. It is quiet and peaceful and fairly isolated. Also we cannot say enough about Lindsey as she was extremely responsive and helpful as far as nearby attractions.

Spent a wonderful New Years at Lindsey’s place. It was perfect! The home is even better than the pictures. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Around the fireplace is where we spent most of our time playing board games and playing cards! The place was impeccably clean and Lindsey was a great host responding quickly to any questions or concerns and providing great recommendations. We are looking forward to returning soon!

Very nice house tucked into the backwoods near Keene. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Placid and poking around Keene instead. Keene has an excellent home store with an incredible array of unique items. It also has a quirky craft brew/garden store (yes, a bizarre combination), a well-stocked gourmet food store and a very respectable restaurant called forty-six that we enjoyed eating at. The house was clean and attractively furnished and the kitchen was well equipped. The decorating was perhaps a little austere for my taste with nothing much on the walls in the way of art but otherwise, it was a great base to use to explore the park from. Also we enjoyed the complementary pizza and maple syrup the owner's left us!

Lindsays house was lovely, spacious with great views and was absolutely the cleanest Airb&b we have ever stayed at!!!! The only thing that was disappointing was they recently had storms and the wifi was out and there is very little cell service but Lindsay did tell us so my kids did downloads. Also we couldn’t use the fire place in the house(very disappointing) I’m to sure if that was because of the the storms but just verify before renting that the fireplace can be used if that’s important. We were very much looking forward to fires. Lindsay did offer use of the fire pit outside but it wasn’t great weather so we couldn’t use. Lindsay lives right on the the property so she was available for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place :)
