Lovely place and helpful hosts! We especially loved the hammock and back porch looking out on the water.
Very grateful for allowing us to share such a wonderful space. Appreciated the welcome treat, thoughtful conveniences, and all of the artsy touches. This place really has everything you need to make your vacation in Tybee Island a memorable experience. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't need a lot of interior hangout space, and is willing to share the outdoor common areas. Hope to visit again next time we are around Savannah.
I booked this airbnb for spring break with my kids, the listing had so much to offer. Let me say right off the bat that the host was nice and friendly and the location was a 5 minute walk to the beach. When I first arrived my initial response was disappointment-yes the space has every amenity mentioned, however I felt as though the listing was very exaggerated- both description and photos, and all of the nice parts( hammock, fire pit, tiki bar room, hot tub etc.) was crammed together. Not very spacious at all in my opinion. The listing only shows the good sides/view which is expected when trying to sell something, the space reminded me of an efficiency apartment with 2 bedrooms that's how small it was. It was dusty on fans and lamps, the fridge was rusted, the inside of microwave was rusted out, there was mold in shower, and the mattresses were older in my opinion. If I would have seen the property in person first I would not have booked it. We made the best of it and enjoyed the city
Emily’s place was just what we were looking for while we explored Tybee Island and Savannah! The area was quiet and it was only a short walk (~.5mi) to the beach for early morning shelling/sunrises. The house was comfortable and spacious with all the amenities we needed. We would recommend checking out Ft Pulaski if you love history! Also the Crab Shack restaurant is definitely touristy, but well worth it, we got the Captain’s Sampler Platter and that was more than enough for us. Take advantage of the kayak’s Emily offers, we saw many shore birds going up and down the creek behind the house. We will definitely be back!
