High expectations and not disappointed - wonderful accommodation and Sara is a great host. Fabulous location and base from which to explore the island but also to just relax and enjoy the glorious surroundings and facilities at the house. Although easy enough to get taxis to nearby English Harbour we found a hire car was handy to get around and more economical over our 2 week stay (we used Pete's Car Rentals who were great). We would certainly highly recommend a stay at Maria's Beach House and look forward to having the opportunity to do so next time we visit Antigua. Meantime our thanks to Sara for taking good care of us.

Quiet, private, clean, airy, peaceful, well-furnished house on Willoughby Bay close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful hosts. Highly recommend!

My family and I rented Sara’s place for a week over the Holidays. We had a fantastic time, the house is ideal for a relaxing getaway. We loved paddle boarding on the bay, seeing the night sky and hanging out on the large covered porch when the sun was too strong. Her house made us feel at home, it is well taken care of and the kitchen is equipped with everything you’d need. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels safe. We hope to come back again, only we'd stay for longer.

Beautiful location steps from the bay. Be prepared for no AC and lots of mosquitoes. The back patio has a wonderful breeze most days and gorgeous views. Power did go out for the entire neighborhood for several hours, which is apparently an island issue so be prepared for that as well. Sara was friendly and responsive even while overseas. She recommended an amazing Taxi driver named JB. If you visit the island and need taxi services in the area, ask Sara for his contact information.
