My fiancé and I stayed at Joelle and Kevin's tiny house and it was amazing! The home was very clean, private, and the kayaking on the lake was great. Joelle was super helpful with the instructions on how to check-in and providing the weather conditions for fires ahead of time. Wonderful getaway weekend for couples looking to relax and unwind! we enjoyed every minute and will definitely be going back in the future!

This is the second time I wrote this review but they keep asking me to write a review!! This place is so perfect for relaxation. Quiet and peaceful. We went around the surrounding area,Perth ,Lanark and Balderson then always relaxed in the enclosed sunroof or down on the dock.The stairs and loft bed was just as they described, not easy to negotiate lol Would love to watch Joelle make the bed cause i sure had a hard time and don't know how many times I hit my head on the ceiling lol But I knew all those things before we booked it but we didn't mind .I think they should have another railing on the stairs.We had a hot water issue but the hosts were so quick to respond and help us fix the problem .The only other issue I has as someone with seasonal allergies was that the tables in the sunroom were not cleaned and theg were thick with pollen but we quickly cleaned those .Would definitely go back and would highly recommend it
Great weekend at Sweet Alchemy. This was a wonderful Tiny House experience. The house was well equipped, clean and the hosts left instructions for everything which made the stay more comfortable and convenient. The area is private and the paddling/kayaking is amazing with very few motorized boats/crafts around. I totally recommend this tiny house for and intimate weekend away for a couple. Thank you Joelle
My husband and I stayed at Joelle’s tiny home for a few nights in mid-August. The home is private and located right along the lakeside. It’s a great home base for exploring pretty small towns in the area. The home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying at Joelle’s property.
