Owner reached out week prior to stay to inform of no furnace and gave option to cancel. We opted to keep stay but requested adjustment on price for only one bathroom with hot water. Owner provided electric heaters for first floor bedrooms that kept tripping fuse the first night resulting in very cold sleeping conditions. He did give us access to guest house for a heated bedroom (he had already extended the use of the bathroom in the guest house so we’d have hot water to shower). Maintenance issues completely unrelated to our stay (water pump stopped working sometime between our departure on Sunday am after showering and Tuesday when cleaners came in to perform check out cleaning) and expense of those repairs given as reason to not offer any sort of reduction in rental fee. Also stated cost to wash linens at laundrymatt as reason for not offering discount. Unwillingness to offer any sort of discount for no heat and only one hot water bathroom soured our stay at this beautiful home.

The stay was awesome. Great for a large group. We had a big group and it fit us all comfortably. Everyone was able to get a bed. The house was extremely clean upon arrival. It has an amazing view and it’s very secluded. Would recommend!

Everything was lovely about this home. The communication and staff were wonderful to work with and very helpful. The house was clean, and we used every inch of it! We enjoyed the mini bedrooms, the family media room. That was a hit! Plenty of parking. We will definitely visit again!

Amazing location and views from the house! Ample space for sleeping many and excellent kitchen to nourish the group. Absolutely wonderful area for some short hikes and walks, and of course, enjoying the water, and generally reveling in creation all around you. We could not have had a better stay with wonderful, supportive hosts during our time to visit here for a wedding, October 2023.
