At "Lake Song Lodge", wake up to beautiful views of Schroon Lake and have your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. At our private beach enjoy kayaking, swimming, boating or just sitting by the water's edge! Beach is shared with your hosts Brian and Maureen. Walk down the hill, 200 feet to enjoy 87 feet of private lakefront. Your own boat slip is included. If the lake level is high, please feel free to use our mooring buoy. Two kayaks and one canoe available for use as well. Lake Song Lodge on Schroon Lake in the Adirondack mountains has classic cedar wooden interiors, with lots of windows looking out at lush greenery as well as Schroon Lake Vistas. We are walking distance (1/2 mile on quiet road) to a restaurant that serves wood fired pizza. We are only a couple of miles south of town where there are a variety of restaurants and shops. Our location is ideal as we are just a few miles off of exit 27. Easy access to the Adirondack Northway (rt 87) makes it easy to take day trips to Lake Placid, Whiteface mountain, Gore mountain, hiking in the Keene Valley, Lake George and Six Flags theme park.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Song Lodge. The lodge is as beautiful as the pictures. Maureen and Brian were extremely accommodating hosts who provided every amenity. Although they live in another house on the property, they were not intrusive at all. The house was plenty large enough to accommodate 6 adults and two toddlers. It offered plenty of space in the amazing common areas for us all to roam without tripping over each other. The largest bedroom with 4 beds would be perfect for kids/teenagers, but as it is away from the noise of the main living space, the two adults without kids stayed there so they wouldn’t get woken at the crack of dawn. The house is right on the lake and as pictures depict, there is a bit of a slope to get to the water. Our stay was an ice fishing trip during the winter so the snow did make parts of the slope a little tricky to navigate. Great location with restaurants and the supermarket minutes away.

Lake Song Lodge exceeded our expectations. As a multi-generational group of 7, the accomodations met all of our varied needs. The photos do not do the space justice - the house is huge and immaculuately clean. Well-appointed with anything you may need during your stay, from kitchen items to kayaks! The private beach access, firepit, and large, covered front porch all added to our enjoyment. Maureen and Brian were helpful and welcoming too - we really felt right at home. We hope to return!

Brian and Maureen were very friendly, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. They responded to our inquiries right away. The lodge is super clean and well stocked with linens and cooking equipment. We especially liked the library.

We absolutely LOVE living in Schroon Lake. Brian and I feel like we are on vacation every day, even though we both work full time. The people in this area are so friendly and the vibe is so peaceful. You will be able to go out for a morning paddle and the lake is smooth as glass... just a great way to decompress. The other awesome thing about this property which at times is overshadowed by the lake view, is the fact that we have a brook running down the south side of the property. When sitting on the beach, you can hear the babbling brook which is so soothing for the soul.

Town to get ice cream or go out to a restaurant. If you bring your boat remember that a boat slip/mooring buoy is included at Lake Song Lodge!! The town of Schroon Lake has boat slips available for day use free of charge. It's fun to boat to the town docks and then walk up to get ice cream or go to dinner. Every time we have boated to town, there have been plenty of boat slips available.
Cycle to....
Lots and lots of places. We see cyclists all over in the nice weather. Many people cycle here because of the lake and mountain views.
Hike to.....
Local small mountains as well as the Adirondack High Peaks. There are tons of local hiking trails in this area.
Ski at....
Gore Mountain and Whiteface Mountain in the winter. We are conveniently located midway between the two.
Fish at....
Town of Schroon Lake fishing pier.
Anywhere on the lake if you bring a boat!!
