Erika is a great host and her place is very clean with warms. We would love to stay again
This was by far the best airbnb stay I ever had. Erika‘s apartment is both in a very quiet street and super close to the metro and downtown Bethesda. The apartment was extremely clean. Erika thought of everything (fir example, there is even an umbrella and back up batteries). She is also a very welcoming host. I can only recommend staying here!
Erikas place was perfect for me as I was.working at the NIH. it was walkable to everything. The unit is very small but had everything one needed. I felt very comfortable and it was nice to have a private place to park. I'll definitely stay again.
I stayed here over the holidays with my dog, and it was the perfect little space for the two of us! The unit was clean when we arrived, had a nice small kitchen, and a comfy bedroom. The neighborhood is very walkable, especially if you have a dog, and also very quiet. Erika was super responsive to any questions I had, I would definitely stay here again!
Erika’s place is great! As a writer who likes to hole up in a space and work alone, this was a fantastic option. Everything I needed was there, both in the house and in the area. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely and, bc of the way the streets are shaped, it’s two blocks from bustling Wisconsin Ave, but it is utterly SILENT and still at night - like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but you’re actually surrounded by all this fabulous DC architecture! Erika was SUPER friendly and communicative! My phone stopped working the day of check-in, and she was totally accommodating… Will definitely be back!

自我介绍
I enjoy continually improving the space so that each guest feels like the first guest. I've done much of the renovation work myself, and it has been a labor of love! I also make sure to comply with all local laws regarding renting and I was even involved in the creation of the county ordinance for short term rentals! That was an interesting process, and it really makes a difference that I live on the premises. My philosophy as a host is to provide as much privacy as the guest would like, while also being always available as I live in another section of the house. I love being an Airbnb Host as it has been a very happy experience to meet (or text with!) such delightful guests, and it has allowed me to continue living in this wonderful (and unfortunately very expensive) neighborhood. I have lived in this house for over 25 years, raising two sons, and now it feels very natural to share this great location with travelers from all over the world. My favorite activities are hiking in the surprisingly scenic surroundings of DC or spending time outside gardening. I do spend a good deal of time on my computer as I’m a website designer with a home-based business. I love to travel and I've lived in France and Russia, starting out in both places without speaking the language so I know what it's like not to understand what people are saying. Eventually I became fluent, and then mostly forgot it all, but the lesson that stayed with me is that people can always find a way to communicate.
