Nestled in the foothills of the Scenic Rim’s World Heritage Parks, this self-contained colonial style cottage is your escape to nature. With its own private verandah and set amongst native gardens, it is the perfect place for a quiet weekend away. Or stay longer and enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of modern life whilst soaking in spectacular mountain views. [See also other listings "Rosella Cottage" and "Kookaburra Cottage" on the same property.] Pardalote Cottage is a comfortable 2-bedroom cottage with queen size bed, two single beds in the second room and a spacious bathroom. Distanced from the road and in an elevated position, the private verandah provides westerly views across the 40 acre rural block to the mountains. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with gas hotplates, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. Please note, there is no oven. All towels, linen and shower toiletries provided.

Thank you Caroline and Craig for the stay. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful when navigating the property for an elderly person using a walker.

Craig and Caroline are the ultimate hosts. So kind, thoughtful, generous and super friendly. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. So accommodating and just great people. The whole stay was just wonderful. The cottage is beautiful complete with great quality linen and kitchen ware. Bathroom is clean and nice! AC in the living area was very welcomed as it was so humid. Location is lovely, peaceful and quiet. I was lucky enough to get a beautiful sunset from the cottage. I even got an invite to go see the cows at feeing time! So cute. I cannot recommend this place enough. Craig and Caroline have done an amazing job with updating the place. Just gorgeous and I can’t wait to come back. Thanks for having us!
