Joanna’s place is an absolutely beautiful get away location with nature all around. My partner and I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this stay, it was the perfect detox from city life :)

Awesome place to escape to and restore as we made our pilgrimage up to the great kauri. Grateful for the attention to detail that really enhanced our short stay. Highly recommend and look forward to heading back and experiencing another one of Jo & Nigel's many hideouts.

The Warehouse is stunning and easily the most interesting place we've ever stayed. We felt instantly calm the moment we walked in. It is such a peaceful space which makes you feel like a child let loose in a museum - we loved playing around with the record player, the diffuser, the yoga/meditation music player, the piano, the board games, the hammock... and sitting in every chair in the room! It's such an enormous open space with so many different 'zones'. The tent around the bed is a lovely touch. The only issue we had was it feels very exposed in the evenings because there are so many big windows, but no curtains - it's a quiet area, but curtains or blinds would have made it more private and comfortable as it can be a little disconcerting at night. Of course it is still a fun place to stay. The amenities provided were great, especially the air fryer in the kitchen. We'd recommend taking a walk around Trounson Kauri Park which is a lovely forest.

What a delightful discovery. We loved staying in this thoughtfully created space. Everything was lovely to look at and great to use. We wish we could have stayed longer to soak up more of the wonderful relaxing ambience.
