This was our third escape to Joanna's oasis and our first visit to the tree house. We experienced four seasons in one day, which we embraced and enjoyed the cosy, comfortable accommodation. The bath and outdoor shower were incredible and we even managed to roast some marshmallows. We will definitely be back, one night all though so so magical was just not enough!

We had the most blissful stay at The Treehouse. There’s nothing like getting away from technology and being amongst nature, listening to the sound of birds and the trickling of the nearby stream. Being able to have a bath under the stars with the fire going was such a treat. Highly recommend a walk in the nearby Trounson Kauri Park too, absolutely beautiful forest. Joanna and Nigel were wonderful, responsive hosts and we really enjoyed chatting to them. We can’t wait to come back again!

Look no further if you are wanting a stunning and peaceful place to switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a place to relax and spend quality time with a loved one or wholesome alone time. This stay was even more gorgeous than we expected. Every little detail is so quaint and well put together, you can tell the treehouse has been made with love. The beautiful forrest surroundings made for two nights of restful sleep in the most comfy, luxurious bed. Sitting by the fire at night after a steaming hot bath under the stars was a slice of heaven. Reading a book in the hammock and listening to the fan tails was absolute bliss. I could go on and on! We will definitely be back to the wild Forrest estate. We would even consider moving in if that was aloud haha! Joanna was a lovely host that made us feel right at home. Thank you for an amazing mini break!
