I came to Holland alone looking for a quiet farm stay and found the perfect one at Wilma’s! The walk into the town of Abcoude is peaceful and beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a holiday that is quiet and slow! Wilma and her family are also amazing hosts who made me feel right at home from the very beginning:)

Wilma was a friendly, approachable, and very accommodating host, and her family were all lovely. Wilma showed us around the farm and made us feel very welcome immediately. We were able to borrow bikes to travel to and from the local train station, which we really enjoyed. The farm is in an extremely idyllic and luscious area, and the walk/bike to the local town alone is an amazing experience. Their family has a farm with friendly animals to pet and observe, which Wilma made us feel very welcome to do. She also sells some of the farm’s produce on site, which we really enjoyed! The air bnb was very clean, all commodities present and working well. Coffee machine was very much appreciated! There was so much light and space in the room and the view from the patio was lovely. We will absolutely be returning should we visit Amsterdam again. I would highly recommend this unique place. Thank you so much.

Ik heb Wilmas studio gehuurd omdat ik voor mijn werk een week in Amsterdam moest zijn. Een heerlijke, compleet ingerichte, moderne studio op een mooie boerderij, vlak bij de koeienstal, in een fantastisch mooie omgeving. Typisch Nederlandser kun je het niet krijgen. En ideaal om na de drukte van de stad even echt bij te komen. Wilma is een geweldige host, die je echt welkom doet voelen. Ik kom terug!
