Highlands Hideaways has direct access to Grayson Highlands State park via the trailhead across the river, following Wilson creek you will see cascading waterfalls less than half a mile up the trail. This is a mountain cabin and there are various wild animals that wander by. There is a pet deer that is seen on occasion wearing a collar, and also a friendly neighborhood dog (Molly) who will wander through for treats and pets, black bears are known to be in the area near the park.
