Whitetop House on the Creek is secluded and serene while still perfectly sited near everything this outdoor wonderland has to offer. Whitetop House on the Creek is just minutes from the Creeper Trail, Grayson Highlands State Park, MRNRA, Whitetop Mountain, and more. This is a spacious, comfy house with a large grassy yard and Helton Creek out back. This is an older home with spacious living room, kitchen, and bathroom areas and three bedrooms. One bedroom leads into a very small room with a window and door; there will be a twin air mattress or a twin bed in that room for guest use. Please note: for the remainder of October, the house will have electric baseboard and space heaters as the heat sources, not oil.

Diana is an fantastic host! She gave us helpful tips on local things to do while in the area. Clear directions on check in and check out procedures. The place is very clean and nice big bathroom and kitchen. The creek was very nice to sit beside and relax. Drink some coffee and read a book and listen to the calming waters. The neighbors dog was a fabulous fun friend to make and a bonus feature of our stay. I would definitely go back and i hope to soon. If you are looking for a great affordable place to unplug this is it!!
i didn’t stay here i booked this place for my mom she wrote such a long review i had to have her cut it down if that tells you anything about how good her experience was here’s her review; I want to thank Diana for being an outstanding host during our stay at her Airbnb. As a first-time booker, I had many queries, but Diana was very patient and helpful, making our experience stress-free. Her place is lovely! We enjoyed cooking together in the spacious kitchen, and my son was captivated by the luxurious bathroom. We enjoyed exploring the scenic creek behind the house and picking wildflowers. The neighbor's friendly dog was also a hit with the kids! Overall, our stay was flawless, thanks to Diana's hospitality. Renting her house was the best decision on our trip to Middle Fork, and we are already looking forward to returning. Diana, thank you so much!
We had a fantastic stay at the house on Helton Creek. Diana is a wonderful host. Super helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area. We appreciated the care in the set up of the house. Everything we needed from extra linens to a variety of kitchen equipment was available. Our family loves this part of Virginia and we really enjoyed having a welcoming place to come home to each evening after our day's activities. Would definitely recommend a stay if you're looking for a quiet place to relax or a base camp to explore all the activities the area has to offer.

This home is located on a quiet gravel road that dead ends into a little used national forest entrance. The neighboring homes are all well separated from each other. A small country church is located across the road.
The home is located on a state maintained gravel road, easily accessible by a standard 2WD sedan. Park on the property. Please do not park at the church's picnic shelter next door to the home.
