The cottage was the definition of clean and cozy comfort for our family of six — a perfect little getaway! Every space was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully maintained. Our kids loved the lofted bedroom on the second floor. The location was close to some beautiful spots on the Appalachian Trail, which was our main reason for being in the area. The stream and area around the cabin gave the kids lots of great outdoor activities. While the house is not “baby proof,” it had many items geared for young ones, which was wonderful… the kid toys inside the house kept our 1-year old happily occupied. We highly recommend anyone to stay here!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coppertop Cottage! The cabin is super cozy and we could really tell how much attention to detail was given to each space. If you’re looking to unplug and have a peaceful retreat, then this is the place!

Delightful cabin. It was perfect for a buddy and I and our fly fishing weekend trip. We had what we needed for space, kitchen that was well stocked, porch and fire pit were nice elements to enjoy the outdoors and beds were comfortable. Autumn was kind enough to send some map screenshots for good fishing spots too! Great place for a getaway to a beautiful part of Virginia with easy access to biking, hiking and fishing. Would definitely go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Autumn’s cottage! What a peaceful little haven. We felt right at home and wanted for nothing. The cabin was well appointed for a relaxing weekend. Super easy access to all the wonderful outdoor activities the area has to offer. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends!
