"Lovely" is a private one-bedroom octagonal bungalow situated within the peaceful, tended beautiful mix of raw nature and landscaped gardens comprising the Van der Ryn Eco-Refuge's five acres. Shared spaces include the yurt where "Lovely" guests can do yoga, work, meditate, or just relax on the deck looking out onto a gorgeous view of Inverness Ridge, and the Star of David Healing Garden, beautiful both during the day and at night with its solar lights and lanterns. Close to Lovely is the Ark, where your hospitable hosts, Micah and Una, and their family live. They are caretakers and owners of the property, and warmly welcome you to have a peaceful, restorative stay while offering you both privacy and any needed assistance you may need. On other sides of the extensive property are two other Van der Ryn houses (the Van der Ryn Ecorefuge and the Ridge House) each with its own grounds. The location, which is a very safe and secure area, is one mile from the tiny town of Inverness, and only minutes away from many beautiful hiking trails and miles of beaches, either on Point Reyes or on Tomales Bay - all part of Point Reyes National Seashore, or Tomales Bay State Beaches and Parks. The larger town of Point Reyes Station, which has several restaurants, a larger grocery store, art galleries, a gas station, and more is only five miles away.
