Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the Studio was great and Dominic was very helpful. He provided us with a better route for walking around Scafell Pike.

We had a lovely time at Dominic and Tara's place. The house is just like in the pictures, big for a family of three, light and very comfortable. Dominic and Tara were responsive to all our queries throughout the trip. This was our first time in the Lake District and we followed Dominic's s suggestions for what to see and experience and we were not disappointed! The area is very well located to the Derwentwater lake and various fells and crags. We made use of the BBQ pit for all of our cooking, which added to the fun. We had a great time, and woukd be happy to visit again!

Dominic’s place was immaculate and they really have thought of everything. The house was so cosy and comfortable, the perfect place to retire after a day out in the lakes. Dominic was so friendly and helpful, always on hand to offer guidance on the local area recommending places to visit, routes to walk/ ride. We Can’t recommend enough.

Lovely, private barn conversion with lots of space for a family. It was very quiet, private and relaxing with mature trees around and outdoor grill and table (for when weather permits) Everything you can think of for a short stay or longer - was available. Carefully selected provisions were available for use- coffee was wonderful. The kids nook / bed with fairy lights was such fun for my daughter. The kids enjoyed movies on the projector. Dominic was a very friendly and knowledgeable host with extensive recommendations for local things to do and food. Mimi the cat visited to say hello. We had a lovely time.

Loved our stay here. Fantastic hosts, pristine condition, and brilliant location. Local town lovely to visit and lots of great walks and viewing spots close by. Would absolutely come again!
