Lovely relaxing home, stylish decoration. We used as a base for walking, scrambling and climbing. Great location to explore Keswick and only a short drive to Skiddaw, Blencathra and the crags around Derwent Water. Fast internet and Sky TV, the washing machine and drier were useful after some days spent out in the rain. Didn't spend any time in the garden due to the temperature but there are several seating areas with some mountain views. We used the log burner every night which made the lounge very warm and cosy. Central heating kept the rest of the house warm and even the entrance hall had a radiator. The hamper of local produce to eat and take away was an added extra that made us feel instantly welcomed. A bit pricey, but we were looking for somewhere unusual and we found it. Would certainly stay again.

Really really enjoyed this stay. We are regular visitors to the Lakes, this place and location were absolutely stand out. Having off-road parking in quite unique, having a brilliant cafe down the road really came in handy. Property was absolutely spotless, Martin was extremely responsive and helpful - this is a property really cared for and Martin was very focussed on ensuring the guests had a great experience which we certainly had!

We have just come back from Keswick, staying at Martin's house. The stay was excellent with all the facilities as listed and more, we could not fault anything. House is central to the lakes and shops and much more. We would be happy to stay again as we felt at home. Thank you Martin!

We use this Airbnb to meet up with our son and his wife from Glasgow. It is a beautiful place to stay with lovely walks on your doorstep Keswick, just a very short walk away and beautiful scenery from the windows. I would definitely stay again. Thanks, Martin
