This cabin was ADORABLE!! We loved every inch of it, inside and out! We will definitely be back!
Nature's Loft is 30 acres of remote beauty. We are only 4.4 miles from the amazing Buffalo River at Gilbert Ar. so the location is perfect. There is so much at your front door. So many out door activities and day trip destinations close by. It is an area that is very centrally located. The nature of this place is beautiful and is very special. It is such a breath of fresh air.
There are three ways to get to the resort.
The most scenic way is to take hwy 333 from hwy 65 at Fergusons restaurant. When you come into the little town of Gilbert you will take a left on Church St which will turn into a gravel road Osbourne rd. Go about 2.2 miles then take a right onto Tomahawk slab rd. Go about 2 miles you will cross a low water bridge which is Tomahawk Creek. The first drive way past the creek is 2312 Tomahawk slab rd on your left. This is a private residence. Nature's Loft driveway will be the next driveway up the hill on the left . It is about a mile from Tomahawk creek and the low water bridge..
The second way in and the way you need to take should Tomahawk Creek be up and the low water bridge is impassable. You will stay on Osbourne Rd past Tomahawk Slab rd. to Tomahawk South Rd which is about 2 miles. Take a right onto Tomahawk South rd. for a few miles until you come to Tomahawk Church Rd where you will take a right. Then come to Tomahawk Slab rd. which is the next "Y" about 3 miles or so. Stay to the right and follow Tomahawk Slab Rd for a few miles until you see the sign for Nature's Loft on your right. If you go to 2312 Tomahawk slab rd or to the creek you have went too far. Natures Loft is about a mile from the creek and is the drive way on right before 2312 Tomahawk slab rd. This is the back way and makes a loop that will avoid the creek crossing.
If you are coming in from Hwy 65 south and want a shorter drive than the scenic drive mentioned earlier and less gravel road then take hwy 374 a right onto hwy 29 which is Osbourne Rd. Stay on Osbourne rd until you come to Tomahawk Slab Rd. Take a left at the “y” onto Tomahawk Slab Rd. Go about 2 miles and cross tomahawk creek and look for the second white gravel driveway at the top of the hill. About a mile from the creek and the next driveway past 2312 tomahawk slab rd.
I want to emphasize: If the low water bridge at Tomahawk Creek is up and you are not certain it is passable please do not attempt it. If you want to contact me before you arrive to check the creek condition please feel free. The water level can change overnight so please use you own judgement and when in doubt turn around and take the alternate route mentioned above..Please print or screen shot these directions. The cell service is spotty and you will lose service before you get to the low water bridge..Also please note the gravel road is 4.4 miles from Gilbert and about 7 miles of gravel road if coming in the backway. The road can be rough at times depending upon rain fall. It is passable by car but i would recommend you drive a midsize suv or truck.
