The villa was as described, beautiful and peaceful. My family truly enjoyed staying there. We also had the best chef, Gabriele, he made the stay an even more unique experience. The town Cortona is just 30min windy road drive and was so beautiful. We also enjoyed the tours that were arranged.

This villa will guarantee an amazing holiday in the hearth of Tuscany. The house is located on the mountain and you have a lot of space for yourself. The pictures do not even do justice to the scale of the entire villa, it truly is enormous. The pool is a great way to relax. The communication with the host is also very quick and clear, if you have any questions you can swiftly expect an answer. The kitchen is amazing and it is easy to cook for large groups with great tools, pans and even an industrial dishwasher. The host has a lot of activities ready that you can do and has enough recommendations to make your stay amazing. There are only two things you have to pay attention to and those are that the location is quite removed from the nearest town, you need to make a half an hour drive so plan accordingly. The second is that the wifi is not very fast and cell service is scarce. All in all my group of friends had an amazing stay here with enough activities and towns to visit in the area.

This is the most wonderful house set in a dreamy position over looking wonderful wooded Tuscan hillside. If you’re looking for a spacious & comfortable house to meet with family and friends then this would be a great choice. The kitchen is commercial with a large cooker & dishwasher normally seen in a restaurant. Carmella cooked us a delicious Tuscan dinner one night, I would highly recommend her. Fab food effortlessly produced. The pool is particularly large commensurate with the size of the house. On a practical note the basics, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, herbs, loo paper, soap & shower gel were provided. Cortona is about 30 minutes drive but there is a coffee bar 15 minutes away at Portole towards Cortona which sells the basics, bread, Italian croissant, focaccia, cold meats, wine, beer, water & more. Bread can be ordered from the very friendly owner. There is also a large restaurant next door to the coffee bar.
