We had such a beautiful stay. Extremely top-notch service from the resort staff. We were taken care of very well and Ibu Agnes was superb. We love the place and we cannot wait to go back again. I like how they communicate with you during meal times through phone and when there is activity going on. They ensured that every guest felt special. Such a beautiful haven and one of a kind place to visit.

Desa Laguna was the ideal holiday for our family of six which included our two young children along with my parents. The food was absolutely amazing and accommodating, and the lodging the very epitome of shabby chic with 120 degree views of the sea. There was plenty to do from paddle boarding and kayaking to snorkeling excursions and trips to nearby islands. The resort’s commitment to sustainability is commendable and Roderick is an outstanding host consistently going above and beyond. Thank you so much Desa Laguna! We will be back!
Ich bin absolut sprachlos! Noch nie war ich an einem solch wundervollen ort. Ich bin alleine gereist und habe mich von anfang sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Es fühlte sich an wie nach hause kommen. Ich hatte den sunsethut für mich alleine. Ich fühlte mich sehr frei und autonom in meinem häuschen. Am tag nach dem ankommen war ich sogar alleine auf der insel - 3 tage lang. Ohne zu übertreiben, diese zeit werde ich auf ewig in meinem herzen behalten. Es ist ganz einfach paradiesisch! Das essen war das leckerste, das ich je in indonesien bekommen habe. Die angestellten sind sehr herzlich und professionell. Es gibt rein absolut gar nichts zu bemängeln! Ich komme ganz bestimmt wieder. Sehr toll finde ich auch, wie der gastgeber sich für die umwelt einsetzt und die ganze insel solarbetrieben ist. Dadurch, dass alles kompostiert wird wachsen neue pflanzen. Auch toll ist, dass sie mangroven anpflanzen. Ich bedanke mich herzlich bei dem ganzen team für diese wundervolle zeit!❤️

Desa Laguna Regenerative Village & Resort is a tiny island in the Java Sea, 2 hours away from Jakarta. Our little island can host 50 people and our sleeping options range from tents to glamping tents to huts (beautiful, open air bungalows on the sea-front with majestic views). Our food is delicious and mainly plant based. Our energy comes from the sun, and we source our materials and goods responsibly. We look forward to welcoming you.
