Jerry and Sally are wonderful hosts, very friendly and easy to chat to. We enjoyed our dinner time conversation with them and learnt a lot about their knowledge and stories of the region. The place is a gem in the middle of the nature. It is a bit far from the Kandy city centre (about 45 minutes of narrow mountain roads drive); but once you get there, it’s worth all the wait. There are many trails and tea-plantation sites to visit and a beautiful garden, pool, and BBQ to enjoy your time peacefully in the heart of nature. We were actually thinking hard about extending our stay, but train tickets that we had bought before coming there was the only reason we had to pack. Lovely place with lovely hosts and sweet dogs.

My family and I had a fantastic time at Jungle Tide. We felt right at home since the moment we stepped in and the staff offered us tea and cookies right away. I stayed in the family room with my 2 kids and we slept so well. It was cosy enough for the cool temperatures. We had absolutely no bugs or crawlers. The garden is stunning and so incredibly peaceful and spacious. We loved waking up and sitting outside into the cool morning air! We were lucky enough to be meeting Jerry and Sally who hosted us so well and with whom we had some lovely conversations. The staff and the owners were so patient with my kids who were all over the place. Finally, the two doggies filled us with extra joy and love! Thank you!

We were fortunate enough to spend over a week at Jungle Tide, having the place to ourselves which was wonderful, although sorry not to meet Sally and Jerry. We were well looked after by Rani (a wonderful cook!) and Martin, and did several day trips with Kenny. The setting is lovely, cooler in the hill country with a stunning outlook from the verandah that made it difficult to drag ourselves away. Pleasant walks from the doorstep with the dogs, it was a welcome way to break up an amazing month's stay in Sri Lanka.

The best villa I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. It gets more breathtaking when you walk in also the view is amazing as well. High-quality rooms and high-quality service. Special thanks to the overwhelming hospitality of Mr. Jerry and Mrs.Sally. Overall, I had a great experience with the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to spend the vacation. Highly recommended. ❤❤❤

We really enjoyed our stay here. Jerry and Sally were so kind to us. They were very flexible. Location and the views were breathtaking. It's one of the best villas one could find closer to the city. I highly recommend this place.
