Nice, quiet location. The numbers on the house was small. We ate at union brew, delicious food, it’s less than 2 minutes away. We were there for a family gathering. Everyone enjoyed their stay and were comfortable.

This is a great large home on the water! Many areas for gathering in conversation. Perfect spot for us.

We had a great stay at Opie's Main House. It was perfect for our needs. We were 3 ladies attending a dog trial with multiple dogs and it was the perfect spot for us. We loved the quiet area and the lovely views out to the water both day and night. The house was very spacious and gave us great opportunity to spread out when needed. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the layout of the main floor area for socializing over breakfast or a drink at the end of the day. We would hope to stay again if we are back next year for the trial.

Overall this location was good!!! Only things I would say is that the lighting systems were difficult to figure out. Some of which we wernt even able to figure out(back deck lights). The heat in the upstairs we found out one day before leaving was actually ran off a different thermostat which we found in the second living room. Due to that it got as hot as 77 degrees upstairs. Lastly there were some pieces of glass that sat against a wall in the second living room. With two kids under 4 we felt it was a small hazard. On the positive note, the rooms were very spacious, clean and hid natural lighting perfectly. Kitchen was beautiful. View of the water was very peaceful also.

We were in town for our son’s divorce proceeding. It was a peaceful house and location for both sets of his parents, and our son to stay. I loved that it was dog friendly because I don’t travel without our dog. Very comfortable for the 5 of us to gather from all across the country.
