The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The mattress and the pillows are made from foam which was rather hot to sleep on and the bed linen was a bit basic but we slept ok regardless of this. The outside area is very overlooked. However I did expect this when I checked out the area beforehand on Google maps. Unfortunately there are some dead conifers around the garden area which was a bit of a shame to look out onto. This could be improved to enhance the outside area as there were also some cactus plants and a Yucca tree that were lovely. The apartment is in a quiet area, set back from the sea front, only a 5 minute walk to the nearest Spar shop and the bus stop that takes you straight into Puerto Del Carmen. A short walk from the apartment along the beach promenade takes you to the Matagorda area of shops, bars and restaurants. A good location, I would recommend staying here to family and friends.

Very spacious, relaxing and quiet accommodation. Very well equipped, and immaculately clean. Small well maintained gardens and pool. 5min walk to beach and shopping area. Overall - We had a great four day stay!

Beautiful place, set away from the hustle and bustle….but could walk to beach and restaurants easily. Great little base to help relax…Ideal for a short getaway! Easy to pick up a hire car to explore the island too. Lovely decor and super clean , couldn’t fault it! One tiny piece of feedback, would be to have other apartments tidy their balconies, as it looked a little unkept, but nothing to do with the actual villa itself! Would come back again!

We fell in love with this apartment. The location was perfect for us. It is so quiet, yet within five minutes you are at the beach. Once there within 15 mins, left or right, you are at lots of bars, restaurant, shops. The apartment is perfect. It is a real home from home. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. Lots of plates, cutlery, utensils, blender, etc. We made use of the washing machine and it has a dishwasher. Outside there is lots of furniture. It has a great pool, which isn’t heated, but with being in the sun all day it does warm up. Communication from Alvero is as excellent. The cleaning staff were very professional. We are so lucky to have found this apartment in Los Pocillios and would happily recommend. Parking is not an issue if you hire a car, which we did.
