Myself and my family (10 of us) stayed here for my 30th birthday celebrations and we absolutely loved it. Knot House is so beautiful, from the decor to the garden views & the stunning village of Cartmel itself. Diane is such a lovely host. From the gorgeous hamper and card on arrival to her great communication/fast response to any queries we had. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay xx

What a fabulous house this is. We were a group of 12 (6 adults) celebrating a big birthday and it was absolutely perfect. There is so much space - perfect for a large group. The house feels luxurious yet homely and welcoming. It is beautifully furnished throughout with super comfy sofas, cosy beds, lovely linen, spotlessly clean and the kitchen is really well equipped. We particularly enjoyed putting the new drinks fridge to good use - so thanks for that Diane! The location is perfect with stunning views from the garden room and the centre of Cartmel village being just a short strolll away. Diane is a fabulous host - always responds quickly and accommodating and helpful in every way. All of my guests agreed it is one of the best houses they have ever stayed in. I’m sure we’ll be back!

We had a group of 12of mixed ages from 77 to 2 years old. All of us had a wonderful time at Cartmel and in Diane's home. It is a lovely little village with a few great pubs, nice restaurants, great walks and is local enough for access to the Lake District. In the Village itself all the staff we interacted with in the restaurants and pubs were so accommodating and helpful. Diane's house was immaculate, such a beautiful home with everything we needed. Diane was a great host, always responsive and happy to help with our enquiries. To a guest I think we would all love to go back sometime in the future.
